Because it IS! It was so fucking WEIRD! Like the whole dream was bright and cheery, and I was going to HIGH SCHOOL still, and like ONLY little people asked me out and I swear to god it was somehow the mid-90s and one of them rolled up in a red convertible and I was SO GLEEFUL there’s NO OTHER DESCRIPTOR for how I was acting, and I accepted his ride with VIGOR and then I called my best friend like GIGGLING “I have two dates!!!” - direct quote! And I SKIPPED merrily down a HALLWAY. I don’t understand what the FUUCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK this even WAS jesus christ I usually dream the most MUNDANE shit, like I usually dream I’m washing dishes or asking someone what they did that day or getting the mail or shopping for MAGAZINES so this fucking dream was the feature film of dreams for me AND THIS IS THE STORYLINE MY BRAIN VOMITED UP
Also, dreams where your POV is a third party observing your dream-self is just the worst fucking thing. Just the wooorssstttt shit ever.
